Along the Church Street side of The Grand Hotel is the Main Bar - a non-smoking bar with the best range of beers, wine and spirits available on tap, by the bottle, or by the glass. You can catch up with friends for a quick drink, or relax on a booth for an extended stay, and a pool table is also available for a game or three. And for those chilly winter nights in Newcastle, what could be better than having a drink in front of a roaring open fire?
The Grand Hotel is proud to be a sponsor of the Newcastle Surf Life Saving Club, and every Friday afternoon there are surf club raffles in the main bar which jackpot each week until a winner is found.
Towards the rear of The Grand Hotel is the Lounge Bar, where you can enjoy a smoke with your drink if that's your preference. As with the main bar, a huge selection of drinks are available.
Weekly Promotions
Tuesdays at The Grand are a little tempting, with the Tuesday Threesome - $3.30 schooners and $4.00 basic spirits for three hours from 4pm - 7pm, so why not pop in after work on Tuesday evening and relax?
On Wednesdays, there's the Middie Week Draw - buy a raffle ticket from 4pm for only $2.00, then at 7pm we give away as many middies as there are tickets sold.
